Catching the last light of autumn
Leonid Afremov creates scenes, filled with glorious light. Not only that, but he uses palette-knife instead of regular brushes to put paint on canvas. It took him almost 10 years to perfect the skill, in which every detail is literally carved into paint layer. With artist's permission, we reproduce a few most luminescent works.
